నిజమైన తృప్తి .

Two men ,both seriously ill,occupied the same hospital room.
one man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's window.
The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back.
The men talked for hours o end.
They spoke of their wives and familieis ,their hoes, theirs jobs,their involvement in the military services, where they had been on vacation.
Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time describing to his roommate all the things he could see out side the window.
The man in the other bed began to live for those one- hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.
window overlooked a park with a lovely lake .
Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats.
Young lovers walked arm in arm amidsy flowers of every color and a fine view of the cit skyline could be seen in the distance.
As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail,the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine te picturesque scene.
Days passed by and weeks rolled on
... one morning
the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths.. only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window , who has died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called he hospital attadants to take the body away.
As soon as it seemed appropriated, the other man asked if he could moved next to the window.
The nurse was happy to make the switch and after making sure he was comfortable , she left him alone.
Slowly , painfully he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first loom at the real world outside .He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.....
But to his surpise....It faced a blank wall.
Tha man asked the nurse what could have compelled his diceased roommate who had describe such wonderful pthings out side this window.
The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.
She said ' perhaps he just wanted to ancourage you.
THERE IS TREMENDOUS HAPPINESS IN MAKING OTHERS HAPPY DESPITE YOUR OWN SITUATION .
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is God'S gift
that's why we call it the present .

ఒక ఆంగ్ల సన్నివేశమునకు పద్యాలలో కథానిక
నిజమైన తృప్తి .
తే .
అవధరింపుడదియొక వైద్య నిలయమ్ము /
రోగు లిద్దరు చేరిరి రోగ బాధ /
చెలిమి యేర్పడె వారికి చెలువ మొప్ప/
వారి రోగ ములొకటైన కారణాన
తే.
ఇవ్విధంబుగా చేరి వా రిర్వు రొకరి /
కొకరుగ గడిపిరచ్చట గుబులు గాను /
కిటికి ప్రక్కనొకడు ప్రకృతిని గనుచు ;/
చక్కి రెండవ వాఁడును చక్క నుండె
తే.
ప్రకృతిని పరికిస్తు మొదటి వాడు ప్రక్క /
రోగికి వివరించ నతడూహ లోన తేలి /
వాడు విహరిస్తు నుండగా వాని రోగ /
ము ప శమనమొం దఁగ నహము లొక కొన్ని /
గడవ నంత మొదటి వ్యక్తి కాలుఁ జేరె
వ. అంత రెండవ రోగి ప్రకృతి చూడనెంచి గవాక్షము ప్రక్క కు పోయి చూడ నతనికి కిటికినకు బదులుగ నొక అడ్డుగోడకాననయ్యె.
తే.
అది గనిన రోగి యా నర్సు నడిగె నంత /
'యతడు వర్ణించె ప్రకృతి ని యంత సొంపు /
గాయనంగ' యనియె నామె ' కల్ల యదియ/
ఏల యనఁనాతడొకయంధుఁ డెటుల చూచు ?
తే.
ఆమె మాటలు వినియాతఁ డచ్చె రువుగఁ /
juuడ నామె యిట్లు పలికె ' చూడ నాతఁ /
డింబు నీకు కల్గించంగ నేమొ యనఁగ /
పరుల యానందముకొరకు పాటుపడుట /
ఇల నిజమగు తృప్తియనుచు తలచె నతడు
